All herbs and teas should be organic, dried, and non-irradiated.  Mix together the following and store in an airtight container until use.  The main ingredients are the ones I don’t change and the flavoring ideas are endless.  I’ve included ones I’ve tested and liked which is just one so far.

Main Ingredients:
1 Cup Red Raspberry Leaf
1 Cup Nettles
1 Cup Alfalfa
1 Cup Oatstraw

Flavoring Ideas:
Lemon Rose and Mint
½ Cup Rose Petals
⅓ Cup Spearmint or Mint-blend Tea*
⅓ Cup Lemon Verbena

Directions for hot tea: Use a heaping tsp of loose leaf tea mixture in a tea ball or strainer to make a cup. Steep 10-15 minutes for best results.  Sweeten as desired.

Directions for Iced Tea: Use a heaping ⅓ Cup of the combined loose leaf tea per half gallon of boiling water.  Sweeten as desired while hot – I like to use 3 heaping spoons of organic stevia extract (the tiny serving spoon that comes in the container.) I use a half gallon mason jar for this, but any pitcher that is heat resistant will work. Let Cool to room temperature and strain loose tea out with a strainer. Chill and serve.  I currently attempt to drink a half gallon each day.

* Note* Some women find that peppermint can decrease their milk supply when breastfeeding.  This has not been the case from me, but you may wish to avoid this ingredient during lactation if this is a concern.
