Ingredients
Grate skin of one or two key limes
1 Carton (8oz) of cool whip (softened)
1 can, sweetened condensed milk
5-6 oz of Key lime juice (To taste) – if juicing key limes approximately 12-15
10″ graham cracker pie shell (or make your own-see below)
2 to 4 graham crackers
1 Graham Cracker Crust
Directions
– Mix juice, condensed milk & grated skin in bowl
– Add cool whip and crushed crackers — beat and mix (Some people do not use the extra crushed crackers)
– Pour in pie shell
– Put in freezer until firm
– Store in Freezer. Remove and let soften on counter approximately 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Enjoy!
Graham Cracker Crust
Ingredients
16 graham crackers, crushed
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cube (1/4 lb) melted margerine or butter
Directions
Mix the ingredients and press them into a 9″ pie plate.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 10 – 12 minutes until lightly browned.
Place on a rack to cool.
